Caviar Oscietra Premium (Acipenser Gueldenstaedtii)
Oscietra Caviar (also known as Osetra) is one of the most prestigious and appreciated caviars in the world. It comes from the Russian sturgeon(Acipenser gueldenstaedtii), a species that historically inhabited the Caspian and Black Seas. It is the most balanced and gastronomic caviar, and these are its organoleptic qualities:
Flavor: it has a very balanced profile, with nutty, buttery notes and sometimes mineral or marine hints.
Kernel size: usually medium to large (2.5-3.5 mm), with a firm texture that explodes smoothly in the mouth.
Color: varies from golden gray to dark brown and even olive green tones.
Food pairing: enjoyed on its own, on blinis, with light sour cream or with soft boiled egg. For drinks, the classic is champagne brut nature, chilled vodka or mineral white wines (Chablis, Sancerre).
Storage: always refrigerated between 0 and 4°C, and once opened it should be consumed within 24-48 hours.
Presentation in cans of 30, 50, 100, 250 and 500 grams.
